What are your products made from?

Our products are made from PLA plastic, which is derived from corn starch, or PETG, depending on the requirements.

Will I receive a proof for my order, before production?

We normally provide proofs for Blue Plaques, and any fully custom one-off items that aren't included in our product listings. If you'd like a proof for any of our other products, please drop us a message prior to production.

 

Are your products environmentally friendly?

PLA plastic is 100% recyclable, but it will need to be recycled away from standard kerbside waste. PLA will compost over time in the right conditions. 

PETG is made from recycled materials, and can be recycled at the kerbside.

Our products are made using solar power where the weather and daylight allows – but all of our electricity is sourced from a sustainable supplier.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Every order is designed and printed to your requirements. Standard lead time – please allow 4 working days from the date of your order. At busy times, especially at the run up to Christmas, please allow 7 days, we will let you know the lead time when you place your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Due to the increasingly unstable political and economic landscape worldwide, we don't currently offer international shipping.

Do you offer Express Delivery?

We do offer Express Delivery for our products. Please contact us before placing your order, where we can advise the current lead time for your product prior to production.

Would a door plaque be suitable for use on a shed?

Like all plastics, PLA will degrade over time in full sun (the colours bleach, and then the material will crack). We therefore don't recommend placing PLA in continuous outdoor settings.

What should I use to fix my door plaque to a door?

We would recommend using a suitable quality double-sided product from a reputable supplier. Our door plaques are designed to be lightweight, so should stay adhered to your door when using the correct fixings. Alternatively, we can design and print screw holes on your item! Just drop us a message prior to production.

I have an idea for a product, will you make it?

I've found a file online that I'd like you to print – will you give me a quote for printing it?

We are often asked to give quotes for files found online – we will offer a quote in certain circumstances, but due to the copyright, legal, technical and safety reasons, we can't always offer this service, especially where items would be used on the exterior of moving vehicles. where we will advise you of what we consider the right way forward.

Why are custom, unique items more expensive?

Our standard range of bespoke products are designed to be customised, and have had many hours of testing and quality assurance designed in to them. They're tested, and ready to go.

Custom items are unique – and they require a greater degree of work to bring them to life. From 3d design, to proofing, to manufacture and quality control, custom items sometimes require many hours of effort, and we ensure we spend the time to get your order exactly right.
